Prices

As of 01.10.2010, the city of Cologne charges a 5% cultural subsidy tax on hotel accommodation.

These 5% are charged over and above the stated room price and paid to the city of Cologne.
 
Business travelers have the opportunity to fill out a tax exemption form, which is required to be signed and stamped by the employer and presented to the hotel upon arrival. Alternatively, the fee can be reclaimed directly from the city of Cologne.
